Hey there,

It’s nearly the end of November! How did that happen? This post should really be called Where did the Autumn go? because a minute ago it was the school summer holidays and now it’s time to think about Christmas *tries not to panic*

*gives in and panics*

A couple of weeks ago I posted that I was planning to make a few changes on the blog and, if you’re eagle-eyed, you’ll have noticed that we’ve had a wee makeover! (I say ”we” but I really mean the blog. I’m sitting here looking just the same as usual). If you’re interested in lifestyle posts, planning and organisation and bits and bobs that I hope will generally just brighten our days, then you’re in the right place! And there will be bookishness, of course. I’d love to know what you think along the way, so please always feel free to get in touch any time if you’d like to. 🙂

Emerald and Lime

So, what’s been happening over the past few months? I’ve been working mainly on establishing Emerald and Lime and figuring out how I want to run the business. I’m learning such a lot, but that’s a post (or several) for another day! Family-wise, my guys finally got their braces off and now have lovely straight teeth. They regularly try to make the case that they should be able to drink fizzy drinks again, but I say we’ve made the break so why spoil it? I think this one will run and run. 😉 Writing-wise, I got a lovely report from the New Writers’ Scheme – really positive, helpful comments. Tapestry celebrated its first anniversary – I can’t believe it’s been a year since all the excitement of publishing it. I feel bad because the poor wee sausage has been fending for itself with no help from me over the past few months. I have so many writing plans and so many plans for Emerald and Lime, I somehow need to grow another ten pairs of hands. (So here’s hoping I’m good at these planning and organisation posts when they come along, eh?) 😉

That’s the last few months Chez Turner in a nutshell! I’d love to know what you’ve been up to, so it would be great if you’d leave me a comment below.

Much love and see you soon!
